Jody Ann "Kat Woman" (Hofherr) Savage , 67, of Marinette, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, Jan. 23, 2018.
Born April 23, 1950 in Marinette, to Donald (Skip) and Bernice (Schimke) Hofherr, she attended St. Joseph's grade school and graduated from Marinette High School in 1968. She married Rick Savage in Marinette on Feb. 8, 2002.
She was a proud certified gemologist and enjoyed gardening, cooking, sewing, camping, restoring furniture, making jewelry, summer, the children at Halloween and making Christmas meat pies and cookies. Her beautiful gardens and flowers were enjoyed by many.
A self taught technology and computer whiz, she liked to color manually and digitally, was handy, could fix most anything, helped everyone and loved her lifelong cats.
She is survived by her husband, Rick; siblings, Patti (David) Enstrom and Fred Hofherr, both of Menominee and John Hofherr of Marinette; cousins; nieces; nephews and many friends.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Dana Hofherr.
Private services will be held. She will live on as an organ donor. Hansen Onion Martell Funeral Home of Marinette is assisting the family.
