Roseann (Sadowski) Darga, 72, of Marinette, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 23, 2018 at her home.
Born March 15, 1945 in Marinette, to Ben and Rita (Chevalier) Sadowski,
she lived in the Marinette area all her life and attended local schools. She was widowed at age 24 when her first husband, Ralph Adams, passed away. She later married Ray Darga in October of 1969.
A devoted wife and mother, she was a stay at home mom when her children were young. She was a good cook and worked at Tenderloin Inn, Weirich's, Memories, Schloegel's in both cities and Angeli's Bakery.
She enjoyed bowling, crafts, flower arranging, gardening, reading and word searches. Together, they enjoyed square dancing and were members of the Twin City Square Dance Club since 1986. She also belonged to St. Mary's Catholic Parish in Peshtigo.
She is survived by her husband, Ray; her mother, Rita Sadowski of Peshtigo; four children, Mark (Brenda) Adams and Steve (Tammy) Adams, both of Marinette, Denise (Dean) Rinke of Saukville and Pamela (Kevin) Bowers of Menominee; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, James (Joan) Sadowski of Billings, Mont., Barbara (Don) Wauters of Fla., Linda (Michael) Prince of Peshtigo, David (Wileen) Sadowski of Marinette, Jeanne (John) Burt of Loretta and Tom (Eileen) Sadowski of Porterfield and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Ben and her first husband, Ralph Adams.
Friends called at Hansen Onion Martell Funeral Home on Friday, Jan. 26 from 4 p.m. until time of the Vigil Prayers at 6 p.m. Visitation continued at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Peshtigo on Saturday, Jan. 27 from 10 a.m. until time of a Funeral Mass at 11 a.m., with Fr. Jess Berdol as celebrant. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery in Porterfield in the Spring.
