Roger Gerry Gretzon, 74, of Pound, passed away Saturday, Feb. 3, 2018 at home.
Born Sept. 2, 1943, to the late Walter and Phyllis (Jashinsky), he graduated from Coleman High School in 1961. On March 17, 1962, he married the love of his life, Nancy and they were together for 55 years.
A mason until he retired, he enjoyed fishing, gardening, and his pet birds, but especially going to the casino. He was a member of Safe Haven Community Church.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy; two sons, Francis (Carin) and Brian Gretzon; a daughter, Kim Krause; six grandchildren; a great-grandson; five brothers, Ron (Carol), Floyd (Jeannine), Fred (Sue), Dale and Larry (Kelly) Gretzon; six sisters, Elsie Gamerdinger, Barbara Fisher, Donna (Jon) Kovnesky, Audrey (Randy) Hill, Doris Gretzon and Melody Handley and many nieces and nephews.
Including his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Richard Gretzon; a sister, Beverly Gorman and a brother, Arvid Gretzon.
Per his wishes, no formal services will be held. Rhodes Charapata Funeral Home is assisting the family.
