June M. (Buelteman) Prefontaine, 91, of Marinette passed away Tuesday, Feb. 6, 2018 at Aurora BayCare in Green Bay.
Born June 15, 1926, to the late Max and Martha (Peterson) Buelteman in Menominee, she worked at Badger Piston and then at KSU where she retired from after 30 years.
A kind heart and sense of humor, she enjoyed cooking, gardening and puzzles, but mostly time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by two daughters, Maxine (William) VanHese of Stephenson, Mi. and Susan (Harry) Goetsch of Neenah; a brother, Kenneth (Theresa) Buelteman of Meza, Az.; 10 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren and two great-great-granddaughters.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters and brothers-in-laws: Betty (Walter) Malke, Margaret (Carl) Mittag and Audrey (Maurice) Duprey and a brother, William Buelteman.
Per her wishes, a private Celebration of Life will be held when the weather is nicer. Thielen Funeral Home of Marinette is assisting the family.
