Jon Comeaux, 65, passed away Thursday, Feb. 8, at home.
He will be remembered for his loving kindness to his friends, family and colleagues, devotion to the Packers, the help he gave troubled youth in working at Norris and his courage in his battle with cancer. "It is what it is," was his motto and his love of life and sense of humor were with him to the end.
He is survived by his wife Mary; his father, Keith; a sister, Michelle Comeaux (Ed Belongia); a brother, Steve; two nephews, Daniel Belongia and Randy Begotka; two nieces, Lauren Belongia and Lauri Goetz; in-laws, Ken and Liz Welch and other dear friends and relatives.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Ruth Comeaux and a sister-in-law, Sheila Comeaux.
Visitation will be held at Porterfield Lutheran Church on Monday, Feb. 19 from 10 a.m. until time of the funeral services at 11 a.m. A lunch will follow and all are invited to attend. Hansen Onion Martell Funeral Home of Marinette is assisting the family with arrangements. Donations to the American Cancer Society or the Humane Animal Welfare Society (HAWS) are appreciated.
