Audrey G. Elsner, 85, of Ashwaubenon, passed away Saturday, Feb. 17, 2018 with family by her side.
Born Aug. 16, 1932, to the late Theodore and Clara Bloy, she graduated from Kaukauna High School in 1950 and later attended the Wisconsin School of Cosmetology. She worked as a beautician at Prange's Department Store and as a greeter at Walmart for over 10 years. She married Gerald Elsner in 1955 and they shared almost 63 years together.
She enjoyed gardening, feeding her birds, trout fishing, being in the outdoors and was a huge Brewer and Packer fan. A Den Mother and Boy Scout Leader, she was also involved with the Women of the Moose, was a civic volunteer at the polling booths and a member of Bethany United Methodist Church and the bell choir.
Survivors include her husband, Jerry; four sons, Robin (Cyndi) Elsner, Keith (Patti) Elsner, Scott (Chris) Elsner and Dan (Laura) Elsner; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and a brother, Wilmer Bloy.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by three siblings, Roy Krueger, Melvin Krueger and Vivian Hacker.
Visitation will be held at Bethany United Methodist Church, 1110 Echo Lane, Green Bay on Sunday, Feb. 25 from 1:30 p.m. until time of a funeral service at 3:30 p.m, with Entombment at Allouez Catholic Mausoleum. Newcomer Funeral Home of Green Bay is assisting the family with arrangements.
