Mary Agnes (Gunville) Hoglund, 99, of Stephenson, Mi., passed away Friday, March 2, 2018 at Atrium Post Acute Center in Menominee, Mi.
Born March 3, 1918 in Ingalls, Mi., to the late Peter and Josephine (Decaine) Gunville, she married Walfred Hoglund on April 27, 1946 in Stephenson, Mi. and he preceded her in death on Jan. 8, 2006.
She was a homemaker and they lived on the Hoglund farm in Daggett Township until moving to Stephenson after retirement. A member of Precious Blood Catholic Church, she enjoyed decorating, cooking and dancing, but mostly time with family and friends playing in the Mid County Pool League.
She is survived by nieces; nephews and cousins
Along with her husband, Walfred, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Stella Zahn and Dorothy Ewald.
Visitation was held at Anderson Diehm Funeral Home in Stephenson on Monday, March 5 from 1:30 p.m. until time of the funeral service at 3 p.m., with Fr. Ron Timock officiating. Burial will be in the Spring in Stephenson Township Cemetery.
