Joan C. Boettcher, 84, passed away Tuesday, March 6, 2018.
Born Feb.19, 1934 in Menominee, Mi., to the late Paul and Pearl Ryan, she graduated from Menominee High School. After high school, she met her future husband, Waldemar "Jack" Boettcher and they married in 1961.
She worked at Aurora Baycare Medical Center in environmental services and Tufco Industries for many years.
She enjoyed dancing, music and time in the garden, but mostly loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and going to lunch with her family. She made birthday cakes for each of her families birthdays and loved the holidays and was able to spend them with family.
Survivors include two children, Jan (Allan) Maroszek and Jeff (Joann) Boettcher; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and three siblings, Virginia Lauzon, Kathleen "Corky" (Dwight) Peterson and Judy (Darrell) Ethington.
Including her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Waldemar "Jack" Boettcher; a grandson, Eric Vieau; two brothers, Roland "Bud" Ryan and Ken "Jim" Ryan and a twin sister, Jean Krause.
Per her wishes, private services will be held by the family. Entombment will be at Shrine of the Good Shepherd Mausoleum. Newcomer Fuenral Home of Green Bay is assisting the family.
