William T. Trimberger, 76, of Peshtigo, passed away Tuesday, March 6, 2018.
Born Jan. 14, 1942, to the late Alfred and Marion (Andrews) Trimberger, he married the former Nancy L. Voeks on Oct. 26, 1963 in Plymouth and she preceded him in death on Aug. 15, 2005. He worked for 30 years for the Department of Motor Vehicles until retiring in 1999.
A member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and Peshtigo River Bow Hunter's Club, he was an avid bow hunter and fisherman and enjoyed time with his family and friends.
In earlier years, he and his family participated in neighborhood get-togethers playing horseshoes, softball and volleyball, also including "come as you are" parties.
In retirement, he enjoyed coffee clutching, going out for dinner and drinks at Tradewinds and spending time with his friend, Lois Hansen.
He is survived by two sons, Ty (Deena) and Ryan; three daughters, Dee (Scott) Schraub, Leah (Steven) Forbes and Tisha (Corry) Lambie; 11 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a brother, Thomas and two sisters, Carol and Jane.
His parents preceded him in death.
Visitation was held Saturday, March 10 at St. Marys Catholic Church in Peshtigo from 8 a.m. until time of a Funeral Mass at 11 a.m., with Fr. Jess Berdol officiating.
