Walter (Wally) V. Anderson, 68, of De Pere, passed away Tuesday, April 10, 2018, after a hard-fought respiratory disease.
Born July 2, 1949, in Marinette, to the late Roland and Lois (Kelley) Anderson, he married Diane Palmquist on Aug. 8, 1970. He retired after 29 years serving the Wisconsin Army National Guard.
He enjoyed golfing, reading and gaming, but his favorite was being a father and grandpa (Papa).
Survivors include his wife, Diane; a daughter, Stacy Wontorski of Wichita, Ks.; a son, Torry Anderson of De Pere; a granddaughter; an "adopted" daughter and granddaughter; five sisters-in-law and many nieces and nephews.
Including his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Debbie Anderson and a special family friend, Blake Bublitz.
Per his request, cremation will take place and no public Memorial Service will be held. Ryan Funeral Home is assisting the family.
