Arlie K. Manning, 79, of Wallace, Mi., passed away Sunday, May 27, 2018 at his home.
Born Oct. 11, 1938 in Lachine, Mi., to the late Emery and Evelyn (Smith) Manning, he married the former Elaine Douglas on March 16, 1957 in Alpena, Mi. He worked as a carpenter and was a "Jack of all trades".
He enjoyed woodworking, horses, square dancing, hunting, camping and trips to the casino. Very involved in 4-H, he was a founding member of the Bronc Busters Horse Club.
Survivors include his wife, Elaine of Wallace; a son, Gregory Manning of Wallace; two daughters, Pamela (Mike) Shampo of Daggett and Sherry (Wade) Paul of Ingalls; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren with one on the way; a brother, Fred Manning; a sister, Pearl Howe and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 2 at Anderson Diehm Funeral Home in Stephenson, Mi. from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
