Kent W. Lantow, 75, of Marinette passed away Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at Bay Area Medical Center.
Born Sept. 1, 1942 in Marinette , to the late Harry and Dorothy (Lehman) Lantow, he graduated from Marinette High School in 1962 and married Mary "Monica" Buzek on July 7, 1962 at Our Lady of Lourdes Church. He worked at Lloyd Flanders, Breshnaham's, Marinette Marine and then Scott Paper for over 25 years until retirement.
He loved woodworking and built many cabinets, furniture and Viking ships from scratch. He enjoyed country music, deer hunting, fishing, time at his cabin and at the YMCA, but especially time with his family.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Monica; a son, Chad (Evan Williams) Lantow; a daughter, Jodi (Dan) Waloway of Marinette; a sister, Gloria (Ken) Hoecherl; a sister-in-law, Judy Lantow and four grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Larry.
Visitation was held at Thielen Funeral Home in Marinette on Friday, June 1 from 3 p.m. until time of the funeral services at 5 p.m. Entombment was in Forest Home Mausoleum in Marinette.
