Crivitz VFW Post 2063 Meets

The VFW Crivitz Memorial Auxiliary Post 2063 was held on Monday, June 11. President Nora Swanson brought the meeting to order at 7 p.m. at the Crivitz Legion Hall with eight members present. Roll call was taken. An opening prayer was said and Liz Fellows read the patriotic theme. Pledge of Allegiance was recited by all. The minutes of the last meeting were read and approved as read. No guests were present.
Treasurer's report was given and filed subject to audit. General orders were read. Membership was stressed and discussed. Also money raffle.
In unfinished business, discussion was held about the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall to be here Aug. 30 to Sept. 2. A new member transferred from Coleman Legion to the Crivitz VFW.
Items discussed were 4th of July festivities and the need for help because it is a long day and are very busy after the parade. Also discussed distribution of poppies and looking for Auxiliary members to sign up to help. Nora Swanson installed Mary Samsa as Chaplain.
A thank you was received from the Vietnam War Memorial Wall for the donation.
