Frances A. (Rogozinski) Sikora, 93, of Armstrong Creek, passed away Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at Dickinson County Healthcare System in Iron Mountain, Mi.
Born Feb. 9, 1925 in Chicago, Ill., to the late Bruno and Genevieve (Jacubowski) Rogozinski, she grew up in Chicago, where she graduated from. She married Jack Sikora on June 4, 1949 in Chicago and he preceded her in death.
They resided in Chicago and after retiring moved to Armstrong Creek in 1979. A member of St. Stanislaus Kostka Catholic Church in Armstrong Creek, she enjoyed weekly trips to the senior center, where she visited with friends and was proud of her clothing fashion.
Survivors include her nephews and niece, George (Nancy) Hylaszek, Lockport, Ill., Nancy Dabrowski, Warrenville, Ill. and Leonard (Leslie) Rogozinski, San Diego, Ca.
In addition to her parents and husband, Jack, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Carol Ann; a brother, Leonard Rogozinski and a sister, Harriet Hylaszek.
Visitation was held at St. Stanislaus Kostka Catholic Church in Armstrong Creek on Tuesday, June 26 from 10 a.m. until time of a Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. Rev. Fr. Callistus Elue officiated with burial in Armstrong Creek Cemetery. Jacobs Funeral Home of Iron Mountain assisted the family with arrangements.
