Erma (Buckley) Kushman, 97, of Peshtigo, passed away Saturday, June 30, 2018 at Rennes Health Care Center-West in Peshtigo.
Born June 13, 1921 in Estill Springs, Tn., to AJ and Nora Sue (Brandon) Buckley, she married Glen A Kushman of Peshtigo on June 12, 1943 and they ran Kushman Watch and Clock Repair.
A loving wife, caring mother, good homemaker and great cook, her pies, German chocolate cake, Christmas baking, fried chicken and many salads were enjoyed by family and friends.
She welcomed missionaries, ministers and friends into their home and she loved to knit and crochet. Her family treasures the afghans that she made for them.
Survivors include two daughters, Betty (Randy) Waller of Woodstock, Ill. and Barbara (Duane) Erickson of Carney, Mi.; a son, Donald Kushman of McHenry, Ill.; a daughter-in-law, Phyllis Kushman of Marion, Ind.; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; a brother-in-law; two sisters-in-law and many nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Glen; a son, David Glen; two granddaughters, Tamara Kushman and Katie Erickson and eight siblings.
Private services will be held at a later date. Hansen Onion Martell Funeral Home of Marinette assisted the family with arrangements.
