Lynn Annette (Purple) Eddleman, 45, of Menominee, Mi., passed away from a battle with ALS.
Born May 29, 1973 in Manistique, Mi., to the late Gerald and Helen Purple of Grand Marais, Mi., she was cherished by her family and friends and she loved them all. She was happily married to Marvin Eddleman in 2012.
She enjoyed family activities, laughing camping, disc golf and watching movies together, but more than anything, loved being a mom.
A mother of five, alone time was limited but in her spare time she enjoyed crafting, Kid Rock and sweets.
She is survived by her husband, Marvin Eddleman; five children, Tyler, Brooklynn, Ally, Eric and Kelsey who will carry on her legacy of love, kindness and compassion; a sister, Cindy (Don) Smith and a brother, Craig (Heather) Purple. A favorite aunt to all, she also is survived by many special nieces; nephews; great-nieces and great-nephews, Justina (Matt) Thoune, Kolby, Kamdin and Kasen; Brad Smith and Cassidy; Sophie Shepard and Ellie Purple; Nick Purple and family and Scott, Nathan and Cassaundra Purple.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Jerry Purple and a nephew, Christopher Purple.
Stories of remembrance at an informal Celebration of Life was held in her honor at Henes Park Pavilion, Menominee, Mi. on Saturday, July 21 from noon to 4 p.m. Cadieu Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
