Jeanette F. (Champagne) Baeder, 81, of West Bend, formerly of Marinette, passed away Tuesday, July 24, 2018.
Born Aug. 11, 1936 in Marinette, to the late Neary and Frances (DeForest) Champagne, she married Dale Duane Baeder on May 23, 1958 and he preceded her in death on July 10, 1996. She worked as a nurse's aide for many years and also as a Home Health Aide. She also had a successful self-made career as a child care provider.
She enjoyed reading and gardening, but her greatest joy was time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Surviving are two sons, Stephen Dale Baeder of Green Bay and Wayne Edward (Anissa) Baeder of Jackson; a daughter, Kathleen Marie (Richard) Gosa of Waukesha; a brother, Gerald (Sue) Champagne of Coleman; a sister-in-law, Joan Champagne of Pound; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by a great-grandchild, Camdyn Mark De Leon, a daughter-in-law, Andrea Renee Baeder; four brothers and three sisters-in-laws, Donald (Pat) Champagne, Ray (Pat) Champagne, Darrell Champagne and Ronald (Janice) Champagne and two sisters, Pam Champagne and Shirley Redmann.
Family greeted relatives and friends at Church and Chapel Funeral Home in Waukesha on Sunday, July 29 from 2 p.m. until time of the service at 4 p.m.
