Scott "Cha Chi" M. VanArk, 49, of Crooked Lake, passed away Thursday, Aug. 16, 2018 surrounded by family after a battle with cancer.
Born Oct. 16, 1968 in Green Bay, to the late Gregory "Beeler" and Marlene (Pierquet) VanArk, he was a carpenter by trade but his passion was for craftsmanship.
He liked to keep busy with many projects, most recently being a golf cart he built with his son. He also loved dogs.
He is survived by a son, Robby (Ashley) VanArk; a granddaughter; five siblings, Becky (Jeff) Busse, Karen Wheatley, Barbara (Tim) Phillips, Jeff (Chris) VanArk and Kelly (Gail) VanArk; many nieces and nephews; his former wife, Lisa Polzin and her family and other family and friends.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents; a brother, Jimmy VanArk; a nephew and two nieces.
A gathering will be held at a future date. Memorials to his family are appreciated. Simply Cremation of Green Bay is assisting the family.
