Timothy S. Doyle, 70, of Marinette, passed away Sunday, Aug. 19, 2018 at home with family by his side.
Born March 29, 1948, to the late Peter and Jane (Devlin) Doyle in Marinette, he graduated from Catholic Central High School in 1966 and moved to Milwaukee where he worked for Harley Davidson.
In 1968, he served in the United States Marines during the Vietnam War. After service, he moved to Alaska for two years and then returned to Marinette and attended UW-Marinette for two years. He transferred to Madison and later attended school in Santa Monica, Ca. In 1999. He then returned home to take care of his Mother.
He worked at A&B Automotive, Gustman's, Stateline Automotive and Cozzy's. He loved his special bond with his daughter, time spent with his nieces and nephews, as the "Favorite Uncle" and all of his extended family through his friends.
He enjoyed spending time on the water, lake, ocean, pond, it didn't matter and also music, reading, airplanes and air shows, but mostly time with family and friends.
He is survived by a daughter, Erin (Justin Weaver) Doyle of Manchester, Ct.; two brothers, Terry Doyle of Fond du Lac and Patrick Doyle of Redmond, Or.; four sisters, Colleen (Tom) Kesting of Lake Placid, Fla., Kathleen (A. Lynn) Cortner of Richlandtown, Pa., Maggie (Todd Haynes) Doyle of Marinette and Kelly (Steve) Doyle-Debruin of Appleton; many nieces; nephews; great-nieces and great-nephews; his former wife, Sally Doyle of Gilbert, Az.; extended family, the Nault's and LaCombe's; many close friends, too many to mention and his girlfriend, Lori Slack-Carroll.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, KC, Dennis and Michael.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Thielen Funeral Home of Marinette is assisting the family with arrangements.
