Jodi Ann deVries, 33, of Menominee, Mi. and Green Bay, passed away unexpectedly Monday, Aug. 13, 2018 in Marinette.
Born Feb. 3, 1985 in Fond du Lac, to William deVries and Suzanne Eager, she graduated from Preble High School in Green Bay in 2003 and worked at at Joann Fabrics in Marinette.
She touched many hearts with her warm smile and outgoing personality, had a passion for elephants and anything pink, was gifted with the talents of crafting and will be missed by all who were lucky to receive her hand-made cards and gifts. She enjoyed baking, cooking and planning for all occasions.
Taken away too soon, she will be missed by all that knew her.
She is survived by her parents, William and Suzanne; maternal grandmother, Grace Eager, Randolph; a brother, Tyson and his wife, Angela and children William and Sheree, Oconto; a sister, Chelsea deVries, Green Bay; uncles; aunts; cousins and special friends, Bruce and Christi Engels and their daughter Kaitlyn.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Mervin Eager and paternal grandparents, Thijs and Connie deVries.
Visitation was held at Werner Harmsen Funeral Home in Waupun on Friday, Aug. 17 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., followed by a service at 6 p.m. A light luncheon followed the service. Donations can be made to an elephant rescue in her name. Because she was an organ donor, the family asks to make a point to become a donor if you haven't already.
