Equity Big Tractor, Truck Pulls, Bands Sept. 15th

The popular Equity Park which is one of the oldest venues for pulling contests in the area dating back to the 1950's, when it was horses and tractors. This year's tractor & truck pulls are on Saturday, Sept. 15th starting at noon. Equity is grateful for their new pulling track this year donated by the Otto "Butch" and Rosemary Risner family in honor of their parents/grandparents. The track was moved to allow for building a new pavilion at the park.
Tractor classes are: Farm Classes: 5000, 6200, 7000, 10500, 12,500, & 15,000. Paced Classes: 4 mph 3600, 4200, 5200, & 6200. Antique 55 & older: 4050, 4550, 5050, 6550. Truck classes include: 5500, 6000 Competition Stock, 6200 Open Stock, 6200 Street Stock, 8200 Street Diesel, 6200 Local Stock, 6200 Super Stock, 6200 Modified, and local semi (recommend to bring your own hitch). Truck registration is from 2-4 pm with pulls starting at approximately 4:30 pm following tractor pulling. For more information on trucks call Cheyenne at (715) 927-8993.
Admission is $5 for adults and kids 9 years and older. Children age 8 and under are free. Tractor and truck pullers are given free admission along with one pit crew member.
Starting at 7 PM Equity Hall will have "Battle Of The Bands" which features three great rock bands. They are Tomorrow's Eve, 44 Audible, and Crossing Paths. Tickets for battle of the bands are $12 in advance and $15 at the door. Advance tickets may be picked up at George Webb in Peshtigo, Barnstormers in Coleman, Kathie's Subs in Pound, Lena Lanes in Lena, Terry's Last Stop in Marinette, and at Equity Bar in Pound. All proceeds made for the events go back into remodeling the Equity Hall & Bar and building a new pavilion down at the park.
