Robert A. Koscher, 67, of Marinette, passed away Monday, July 30, 2018 in Marinette.
Born Sept. 28, 1950 in Chicago, Ill., to Joseph and Charlotte Koscher, he was a talented musician from the age of four, could play many instruments and remember lyrics to many songs.
Later in life, he became an internet radio host and was very popular. Being blind at birth, his handicap only strengthened him in other areas of life.
His exploits included driving his nephew's car safely on deserted country roads, playing baseball with a modified ball with a bell and playing "Foosball" with his buddy, Mike, using "altered rules." His musical talent provided enjoyable moments to many people over the years and will not be forgotten.
He is survived by a brother and sister-in-law, John and Kathy Koscher of McHenry, Ill. and nephews; nieces; great and great-grand nephews and nieces.
Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Jane Koscher; a brother and sister-in-law, Joseph and Janet Koscher and infant brothers, Kenneth and Donald.
A Celebration of Life graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 12 at Forest Home Cemetery in Marinette, with Rev. James Wendt officiating. Condolences can be sent to the funeral home to assist with expenses or donations can be made to the Marinette Lions Club. Hansen Onion Martell Funeral Home of Marinette is assisting the family with arrangements.
