Helen Basak, (Karademoulis) 90, of Crivitz, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 29, 2018.
Born May 22, 1928, to the late Nickolas and Caroline Karademoulis, she graduated from Tuley High School in 1947 and married Joseph Basak, Sr. on June 28, 1947.
She took care of her home and two children for many years, enjoyed playing baseball and loved polka dancing in her younger years.
She is survived by her husband Joseph, Sr.; two children Joseph, Jr. and Richard (Carol) Basak; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Including her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers.
The family greeted relatives and friends at St. Mary Church in Crivitz on Saturday, Sept. 1 from 1 p.m. until time of the service at 2 p.m. Fr. Frederick Sserugga officiated with burial in St. Mary's Cemetery in Crivitz. Rhodes Charapata Funeral Home of Crivitz assisted the family with arrangements.
