Dean Grant, 60, of Wausaukee, passed away unexpectedly Monday, Oct. 15, 2018.
Born Oct. 2, 1958, to Orville and Marilyn (Schneider) Grant, he grew up in Tuscan, Az. and graduated from Hortonville High School in 1976. He worked for 20 years at Kewaunee Fabrications, retiring in 2016. On Sept. 29, 2012, he married his best friend, Michelle Doperalski. He was a devoted family man and loved the outdoors.
Survivors include his wife, Michelle; his mother, Marilyn; six children, Michael (Kristina), Bobbi Jo (Jason), Stephanie (Brendan), Asha (Nate), Nicole (Tyler) and Bailey (Chase); 11 grandchildren; a brother, Bruce (Darlene) and many cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Orville and his previous wife, Jeri Ann.
Family and friends may visit at Knutson-Cotter Funeral Home, 536 County Road R, Denmark on Saturday, Oct. 20 from 1 p.m. until time of a Prayer Service at 3 p.m. Cotter Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. A memorial fund has been established in his name for encouraging youth hunting.
