Leatha Ann (Holmes) Sokolowski, 86, of Chicago, Ill., passed away peacefully on Thursday, Oct. 11, 2018.
Born Jan. 23, 1932 in Goodman, to the late Dwight and Mildred (Anderson) Holmes, after graduating from Amberg High School, she worked in Evanston, Ill. There she met and married Ted Sokolowski on Nov. 10, 1951 in Chicago.
She was a wonderful homemaker, wife, mother and grandmother. After Ted's passing in September 2008, she enjoyed shopping and lunches with her daughter, grandsons and nieces.
She is survived by a daughter, Sandra (late Jim) McCormick and her three grandsons, Michael, Sean and Jimmy, all of Chicago; her brother, Ronald (Margery) Holmes of Amberg and many nieces; nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Gerald and her sister, Karen Deau and her husband, Robert, Sr.
