James "Jimi" Duer, 57, of Wausaukee, passed away Thursday, Oct. 18, 2018 at his home.
Born July 22, 1961 in Milwaukee, to Ronald and LaVon (Rosenow) Duer, he married his future wife, Janise in Milwaukee on April 26, 1986. He liked being an over the road truck driver and would say he was "a professional tourist".
He loved fishing, playing pool and running pool tournaments, riding his Harley and tinkering in the garage with his son. He also enjoyed talking to everyone and time with family, especially his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Janise; three children, Jamie (Edward) Babio, Nicholas (Dawn) Duer and Alexander Duer; six grandchildren and five siblings, Thomas (Ann), John (Mary), Michael (Bonnie), Timothy (Suzanne) and Tracy.
Including his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant son, David.
Family and friends may call at Roubal Funeral Home in Wausaukee on Wednesday, Oct. 24 from noon until the time of the funeral service at 2 p.m., with Scott Severson as Celebrant. A luncheon will follow at the Middle Inlet Town Hall.
