Clarence Dionne, Jr., 86, of Marinette, passed away Thursday, Oct. 25, 2018 at Bay Area Medical Center.
Born Sept. 24, 1932 in Menominee, to the late Clarence and Mary (Vanne) Dionne, he enlisted in the United States Navy at 17 years old and served for 15 years. On July 21, 1956, he married Rosemary Cinko in Los Angeles, Ca. He worked at Kargard, Marinette General Hospital and Enstrom Helicopter from where he retired.
He enjoyed spending time at camp with his family and helping out at the Used Appliance Store with his son Bob.
He is survived by two daughters, Raelene (Patrick) Staab of Two Rivers and Darlene (Norman) Strasler of Carney, Mi.; three sons, Robert (Liz), Michael (Sue) and Joseph (Lynn) all of Marinette; three brothers, Gordon of Port Washington, Donald of Algoma and William of Illinois; seven grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents and wife, Rosemary, he was preceded in death by five sisters and seven brothers.
Visitation was held at Thielen Funeral Home in Marinette on Monday Oct. 29 from 4 p.m. until time of shared memories at 7 p.m. Burial was in Forest Home Cemetery in Marinette on Tuesday, Oct. 30 at 10 a.m. with Military Honors.
