THE CITY REBORN FROM THE ASHES OF AMERICA'S MOST DISASTROUS FOREST FIRE
Holiday Tour of Homes Set for Nov. 30, Dec. 1
Issue Date: November 8, 2018
Preparation for the 2018 Holiday Tour of Homes is underway again. Magic will be in the air as Christmas lights brighten five local homes and the owners open their doors to the community for this special event. Participants are invited to join the families as they share their interior decorating, remodeling projects, new building experiences, and holiday traditions. The Holiday Tour of Homes takes place Friday, Nove. 30 from 4-8 PM and Saturday, Dec. 1 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The Holiday Tour of Homes is intended to appeal to a wide variety of viewers. The 2018 homes range from large to small and from historic to brand new. Diverse interiors, architecture, and holiday decorating ideas are highlighted. Take a tour through time by visiting the historic bayside home of Dr. Kirsten and Mr. Aaron Buck, located on First Street in Menominee. Views of the bay are seen from almost every window in the newly built home of Lisa and Sean Fernstrum, located farther north along M-35. The Lannon stone home of Pam and John Lee is also located on the bay. With the beach only steps out the back door, it is surrounded by mature trees and is nestled in the quiet and peaceful neighborhood on Northwoods Cove. Guests will travel along the Menominee River to view the home of Mary Theis and will enjoy the hospitality of Becky and Phil Noble in their Marinette home located on Redpath Drive.
Holiday Tour of Homes sponsors this year are: Trends and Traditions, The Goose and Gander Finery, and Hirsch's Cedar River Pub. They are located along the tour route and will be highlighted on the ticket map. Show Holiday Tour of Homes ticket to receive special deals at their locations.
