Gregory "Archie" Carlson, 59, of Menominee, Mi., passed away Monday, Nov. 5, 2018 at home after a long illness.
Born May 19, 1959 in Marinette, to Vernon and Jean (Williams) Carlson, he graduated from Sault St. Marie High School in 1978. He worked at Marinette Marine and then Coleman Machine Products.
He enjoyed hunting, the Packers and woodworking, especially with his Dad and was a charter member of the Marinette Moose Lodge.
He is survived by his mother, Jean (Keith) Davis of Menominee; two step-daughters Mindy and Mandy; a half-brother, Matt Carlson; a half-sister, Jessica Williams; two step-brothers, Keith (Mary) Davis and Ken (Angie) Davis; three step-sisters, Lynn (Buzzy) Kellner, Cathy Drake and Kelly (Steve) Sweet; many aunts; uncles and cousins and close friends, Gary Anderson, Kooch Greening, Jesse Kellner and Don Rupert.
He was preceded in death by his father, Vern.
Visitation was held at Thielen Funeral Home on Saturday Nov. 10 from 10 a.m. until time of the funeral services at noon, with Rev. Mark Laatsch officiating. A Memorial Fund was established.
