Mary Ardeth (Rishe) Biernasz, 91, of Wausaukee, passed away Thursday, Nov. 15, 2018 at the Luther Home in Marinette.
Born Sept. 12, 1927 in Iowa, to the late Ralph and Winnie (McRae) Rishe, she married Andrew Biernasz on June 22, 1946 and he preceded her in death.
In 1959 they moved from Amberg to the Wagner area. She enjoyed gardening and was a member of the Wagner PTA and 4H Club.
She is survived by three children, Bonnie Elias, Dan (Sue) Biernasz and Robert (Anne) Biernasz; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandson and a sister, Enid Tousey.
She was preceded in death by a son, Andy; two grandsons, Danny and Stephen and a brother, Ralph.
Family and friends called at Community Lutheran Church in McAllister on Sunday, Nov. 18 at 2 p.m. for the funeral. Rev. Paul Hueter officiated followed by a luncheon and time of sharing memories. Burial was in the Church Cemetery. Roubal Funeral Home of Wausaukee assisted the family with arrangements.
