Gerald "Jerry" L. Heling, 75, of Athelstane, passed away Friday, Nov. 23, 2018 after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born Jan. 10, 1943, to the late Florence (Peters) Taylor, he graduated from Oconto Falls High School and was a truck driver for Schneider Transport for 35 years. He married Carole Gillett on April 15, 1983 and they shared 35 years together. They traveled together for their job for 16 years.
An avid Wisconsin sports fan, he loved cheering for the Packers, Badgers and Brewers. He enjoyed fishing and hunting in his younger years, looked forward to his annual fishing trip to Canada with his fishing buddies and loved time with his puppies and family, especially his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Carole; two sons, Mike (Kelly) Lambrecht and Ken (Crystal) Lambrecht and seven grandchildren.
Including his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings.
Visitation will be held at Newcomer, Green Bay Chapel, 340 S. Monroe Ave., Green Bay on Friday, Dec. 14 from 5 p.m. until time of a Memorial Service at 7 p.m.
