Eldora L. (Seefeldt) Abel, 81, of Peshtigo, passed away Sunday, Dec. 2, 2018 at Rennes Health Care Center-East in Peshtigo.
Born March 4, 1937, to the late Gustave and Esther (Ahrens) Seefeldt, she married Eugene Abel in 1956 and they were together until his death in 2004.
A member of St. John's Lutheran Church, she worked for many years at Coleman Products until it's closing. She enjoyed working there with many friends and family. In earlier years, she enjoyed lake and stream trout fishing, trap-shooting, gardening, traveling and playing cards with family and friends. She befriended the wildlife that surrounded her home and enjoyed her cats.
She is survived by three daughters, Debra (Richard) Nordquist, Cindy Abel and Amy (James) Peterson; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a sister, MaryAnn (Harvey) Denowski and sisters-in-law, Nancy Seefeldt, Geraldine Radzinski (Richard Adamski) and Janice (Robert) Kamin.
Among her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene; three brothers, Leroy, Gerald and Raymond Seefeldt; her in-laws, Walter and Ida Abel; a sister-in-law, Delores Seefeldt and five brothers-in-law, John, Fred, Frank and Harvey Abel and George Radzinski.
Visitation will be held Thursday, Dec. 6, at St. John's Lutheran Church in Grover from 9 a.m. until time of services at 11 a.m. Pastor Luke Myslik will officiate with burial in St. John's Cemetery. Berth and Rosenthal Funeral Home of Peshtigo is assisting the family with arrangements.
