Peshtigo Powers Past Richland Center in Milwaukee

The Peshtigo Bulldogs had a chance to play at one of the nations' premier new basketball arenas over the weekend and they made the most of it.
The Bulldogs beat Richland Center 62-38 Saturday at the Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee, the home of the NBA's Milwaukee Bucks.
Peshtigo played gritty defense and matched the score of Richland Center for the game in the first half alone, scoring 38 with contributions from nine players.
In all, 12 players got on the scoresheet for the Bulldogs, with two in double figures. Trent Carriveau had 12 and Nathan Goneau scored 10 to lead the way. Reid Marquardt scored eight, Damon Jones had seven and Cameron Noffke scored six.
Richland Center had just 18 points in the first half and no player got into double figures in the game.
Bobcats Bounce White Lake
The Florence Bobcat boys took a nice win over the White Lake guys Thursday night 105-34.
The blowout win was led by Riley Hixon and Evan Beatser who both posted 26 points. Preston Stoiltz got 16 points.
Wausaukee Takes Win Over Elcho
The Wausaukee Rangers were the victors in their match with Elcho last Thursday, defeating the home country boys 57-42.
It was close for most of the game as Wausaukee held a narrow lead at the half 26-24. But a 31-18 second half differential would prove to be the back breaker.
Brandon Shigouri led all scorers with 21 points while Tristian Pollard tacked on 11 points. Hayden Renikow posted seven.
Elcho was led by Chase Novak with 12 points and Mac Morrison with 10.
Bobcats Send Patriots Flying
The Florence Bobcats would not be denied their 84-44 victory over the visiting Goodman Pembine Patriots last Monday.
Evan Beaster was on fire with 28 points during the game while Kaden Schuls posted 232 points. Toby Wheeler got 10.
Lena Survives Wausaukee
The Wausaukee Rangers had their hand completely full trying to contain the up and coming Lena Wildcats who put the screws to Wausaukee for a 55-51 win.
Wausaukee was better out of the gate in this one but not by much as the Wildcats stayed in the hunt at the half 29-24.
After returning fire in the second half the Wildcats found themselves just a ahead after going 29 points over the closing frame. Wausaukee on the other hand could only muster a 22 point effort to close the game.
Leading the Wildcats and all scorers during the game was Colby Borchert who went absolutely wild, bring up the nets with 32 points. Max Beyer got seven while Logan Shallow pitched in five points.
Wausaukee was led by Brandon Shigouri with 20 points and Hayden Renikow with nine points. Tyler Gruszynski posted five.
Crivitz Defeats Gillett
The Crivitz Wolverines took a solid win over the visiting Gillett Tiger sTuesday night with an 84-55 final verdict.
Crivitz had their share of high scorers in this one as five players entered double digits by games end. Chandler Kaldenberg led the way with 16 points along with Jaden Werner who also posted 16 points. Dawson Andrist got 13 points while Ryley Bemis and Eli Lawrence both added on 12 points each.
Cole Long and Logan Krause led Gillett with 12 points while Logan Block tacked on 11.
Niagara Takes Win Over STAA
The Niagara Badgers beat the St. Thomas Aquinas Cavaliers Tuesday night 66-13.
