Thunder Win Streak Ends With Home Loss to Dodgeville

Coming into the weekend, the M&M Thunder had won 19 straight, but that streak came to a close at home on Saturday.
The Thunder played four games at home over the weekend, winning one. The Thunder beat Dodgeville in one of two. In a win, the Thunder got a 5-2 win, the same score as the first time the teams met this season.
In the win, Cade Fernstrum scored twice. Adam Lemery, Jacob Pantti, and Aidan Bohaczek each scored one apiece.
Braeden Park had 20 saves on 22 shots in the win.
Niya Patneaude was in the net for the second game of Saturday evening, where the Thunder lost 5-4. She saved 23 of 28 shots, but it wasn't enough.
Paul Nash had one goal and Bohaczek scored three of his own after assisting Nash's goal.
On Sunday, the Thunder fell in two games to the Canadian Soo Tornado U18 hockey team. In the first game, Park put up a valiant effort, saving 49 of 51 shots, but the Thunder lost 2-1.
Bohaczek had a goal. The Soo United squad won 4-3 in the final game. Wes Knutson scored once and Justin Netemeyer had two goals.
Patneaude started the game and made 13 saves. Park came in and made 14 saves in his time in the crease.
