Glenn Otis Yeazel, 85, of Peshtigo, recently of Manitowoc, passed away Friday, Feb. 15, 2019.
Born Aug. 23, 1934, to Byron and Mabel (Anderson) Yeazel, he married Nancy J. Messenger of Porterfield on Feb. 6, 1960. After graduating from Peshtigo High School he worked at Badger Paper Mills for 45 years, retiring in 1994.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, four wheeling near his cabin in Silver Cliff and many hunting trips in Wyoming and Colorado. He was involved in Boy Scouts, the Peshtigo and Harmony Sportsman's Clubs and Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, where he served on many committees.
He is survived by a daughter, Toni (fiancée, Nancy Ahrens) Pierce; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, all of Manitowoc; a brother, Roy Yeazel of Madison; a sister-in-law, Marion (Mick) Messenger of Peshtigo and many nieces and nephews.
Including his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy; a son, Jay Yeazel; a son-in-law, Kevin Pierce and a brother, Lyle.
Visitation will be held at Thielen Funeral Home on Sunday, March 3 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. to celebrate both the life of Glenn and Nancy.
