Peggy Ann (Kuntz) Gorski, 70, passed away suddenly at age 70 on Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2019 in Bethesda, Md.
Born July 10, 1948 in Marinette, to the late Walter and Germaine Kuntz, she was raised there with her three brothers. She married Frank Gorski Sr. and he preceded her in death in 2001 after 28 years of marriage. They raised two children, Denise Gorski and Frank Gorski, Jr. in Kensington, Md.
She attended Dr. Martin Luther College, Sacramento State University and graduated from the University of Wisconsin with a Bachelor's Degree in applied mathematics. She also earned a Master's Degree in computer applications from the University of Wisconsin.
After college, she worked as a statistician at STP Corp. in Des Plaines, Ill., and Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., in production and inventory control at Honeywell in Dundee, Ill. and at Aurora Toys in Hempstead, N.Y. She also founded and managed Emergency Business Forms on Long Island, N.Y. with her husband.
In Maryland, she worked as forms manager at MCI Telecommunications and later as an IT training specialist as a contractor at the DOJ for Gray Systems and the Coleman Group.
She enjoyed playing bridge, watching sports, was an avid college and professional sports fan and loved time with her many friends and traveling.
She was an active member and volunteer at the Lutheran Church of St Andrew and also helped plan and organize the Marinette High School Class of 1966 parties and reunions.
She is survived by her two grown children, Denise and Frank; three brothers, Dennis, Lee and Karl Kuntz.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank.
Friends and family can pay their respects at the Lutheran Church of St. Andrew, 15300 New Hampshire Ave., Silver Spring, Md. on Saturday, Feb. 23 from 11 a.m. until time of a Memorial Service, with Pastor Mark Hricko officiating. A Celebration of Life luncheon will follow from 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. at Wheaton Moose Lodge, 2901 Bel Pre Road, Silver Spring. A gathering in her honor will also be held in Marinette in Summer with details to follow. Donations in her name are appreciated to Lutheran Church of St Andrew.
