Frederick "Fred" Boehm, 98, of Peshtigo passed away Saturday, Feb. 16.
Born Nov. 21, 1920, to the late William C. and Gertie (Janssen) Boehm in Titonka, Ia., he married Jean Burger on Jan. 25, 1946 in Mason City, Ia. They moved to Kenosha with their family until settling in Peshtigo where he farmed and drove truck.
He is survived by seven grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; several brothers; two sisters and three daughters-in-law.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Jean on Dec. 1, 2011; three sons, Ronald, Donald and Charles Boehm; a daughter, Diane Peterson; three brothers, Carl, George and Dennis Boehm and two sisters, Irene Winter and Pauline Eisenhauer.
Visitation will be held Sunday, Feb. 24 at Berth and Rosenthal Funeral Home from 10 a.m. until time of services at noon, with Pastor Ronald Helgerson officiating. Burial will be held in Spring in Harmony Cemetery.
