Wellness Conference At Pound Hillside

Pound-Hillside Assembly North Church in Pound is sponsoring a free Wellness Conference for northeast Wisconsin on Saturday, March 23rd. The speaker at 10:40 a.m. is Dr. Mitch Sutton from the Wellness Way in Green Bay. Experiencing the healing benefits of chiropractic since a youth, he developed a passion for treating pediatric patients. He believes in the gut/brain connection, in that a healthy brain begins with a healthy gut. With an understanding in what it means for the body to be healthy, he believes in "Let thy food be thy medicine," and a healthy dose of fresh air, to be amongst the best ingredients for wellness.
Other featured speakers for two breakout sessions are Scott Reuss from the UW Extension Office in Marinette when topic is growing own super berries. Jill Cholewa from the UW Extension Office in Oconto will talk on brain health: brain boosting foods, brain workouts/lessons, memory, focus and clarity. Breakout sessions begin at 9:35 a.m.
