Corrine Clara Schroeder, 77, of Brillion, passed away Saturday, March 2, 2019 at her home, surrounded by family.
Born Aug. 24, 1941, to the late Walter and Alma (Borowski) Schmidt of Marinette, she married Russell Roger Schroeder in 1960 and they raised three children in Milwaukee. She was a Licensed Practical Nurse at Mt. Sinai Hospital.
Upon retirement, they bought their dream home on the lake in Brillion and spent their winters in Florida, traveled to Germany and loved being involved in their community.
She was a member of the Potter Homemakers Club, the Brillion Woman's Club, the Red Hats and served on committees at Holy Family Catholic Church, but mostly loved time with family, especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by three children, Nadine (Rick) Duncan, Anita Materi and Dale (Wendy) Schroeder; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Roger (Regina) Schmidt; four nieces; two nephews; two cousins; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Beverly and Guy Enockson and many more family and friends.
Including her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Schroeder; a son-in-law, Alex Materi; her parents, Walter and Alma Schmidt and best friends, Lou Schaefer and Bev Dalecky.
Per her request, no public funeral will be held. A Rite of Committal with Final Commendation of her ashes will be held at Holy Family Parish Cemetery in Spring. Wieting Funeral Homes of Brillion and Reedsville is assisting the family.
