Sharon L. (Rissling) Kowalkowski, 72, of Goodman, passed away Saturday, March 2, 2019 at Dickinson County Healthcare System in Iron Mountain, Mi.
Born Oct. 18, 1946, in Milwaukee, to the late Clarence and Naomi Rissling, she was raised and graduated from high school in Milwaukee. She married Timothy "Tim" Kowalkowski on April 4, 1981, in Las Vegas, Nv. and they lived in Goodman where they attended St. Stanislaus Kostka Catholic Church in Armstrong Creek.
She worked at Goodman Veneer for many years as a wood planer until her retiring in 2004. She also worked as a waitress and bartender at the Blue Roof Saloon in Armstrong Creek and the White House in Goodman. She enjoyed many trips to the casino, socializing and loved people, especially her family and friends.
Survivors include her husband, Tim Kowalkowski; four sons, Klinton Krenzke of Colorado, Kristopher (Miun) Krenzke of Las Vegas, Nv., Keith (Vickie) Krenzke of Fence and Chad (Jacqueline) Kowalkowski of Oconto Falls; a brother, Curt (Vicky) Rissling of Manitowoc and many grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant son, Timothy Michael, Jr.; a brother, Steve Rissling and a sister, Renee Jackups.
Per her wishes, private family services will be held. Jacobs Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Iron Mountain, Mi. is assisting the family with arrangements.
