Marion G. (Leonhardt) Hutson, 96, passed away Thursday, March 7, 2019 at her son's home in Modena, Ill. She was the widow of the late Manning J. Hutson, who she married 69 years ago.
She was retired from the St. Joseph Hospital in Joliet, Ill., where she was a Nursery Nurse.
The couple moved to Athelstane after retirement, where they resided for 35 years.
She is survived by five children, Gregory A. (Cindy) Hutson of Joliet, Ill., Douglas S. (Terri) Hutson and Deborah M. (John) Trumpus, both of Mokena, Ill., Geoffrey L. (Karen) Hutson of Richton Park, Ill. and Rob L. (Janet) Hutson of Peotone, Ill.; 14 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
Along with her parents, Henry and Mary Leonhardt, she was preceded in death by her husband, Manning and a brother, Harold Leonhardt.
The family will receive visitors at Immanuel Lutheran Ev. Church, 10731 W. LaPorte Road, Mokena, Ill. from 10 a.m. until time of a Memorial Service at noon on Saturday, March 23. Cremation rites have been accorded and burial will be next to her husband in Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, Ill. Contributions to the Joliet Area Hospice, 250 Water Stone Circle in Joliet, IL 60431 are appreciated. Midwest Mortuary Service is assisting the family with arrangements.
