Janice L. (Thomson) Millering, 74, of Peshtigo, passed away Tuesday, March 5, 2019 at Rennes Health Care Center-West in Peshtigo.
Born April 14, 1944, to the late Lawrence and Agnes (Anderley) Thomson in Menominee, Mi., she graduated from Menominee High School in 1962. She married Jack Phillips on Feb. 12, 1966 and he preceded her in death on May 9, 1993.
Over the years, she owned many dogs and horses, was a member of the Triple C Riders and the Commodore Club. She began working with computers early on and enjoyed designing with her computer, making cards, bulletins, business cards and other crafts.
On Sept. 6, 1996, she married Hank Millering and he preceded her in death on June 14, 2016. They retired to Loraine, Tx., where they became active in their church, New Life Bible Ministry in Colorado City.
A huge Packer fan, even while in Texas, she did three way calling with her sisters to watch the game together. With the most important thing being family, friends and God, in August of 2016, she returned to Peshtigo to be close to family.
She is survived by four brothers, Larry Thomson of Menominee, Dean (Cindy) Thomson of Lake Havasu, Az., Paul Thomson of Franklin Park, Ill. and Harvey (Rose) Thomson of Green Bay; two sisters, Valerie Mathias of Stephenson and Kathy Suley of Peshtigo; many nieces and nephews and her best friend, Linda Cornelius of Green Bay.
In addition to her parents and two husbands, Jack and Hank, she was preceded in death by a brother, Aaron; two brothers-in-law, Roger and Al and three sisters-in -law, Nancy, Pricilla and Linda.
A Celebration of Life will be held in Summer. Thielen Funeral Home of Marinette is assisting the family with arrangements.
