Jewel M. (Pierce) Pennington, 76, of Marinette, passed away Tuesday, March 5, 2019, at her home.
Born Feb. 14, 1943 in Baraboo, to Albert Edward Pierce and Ruby (Rathman) Pierce, she was one of eight children in the family. She came to Marinette as a young adult and lived here since. She was married to Wally Pennington and to Bernie Beaver, both of whom preceded her in death.
She worked at the former M&M Box Co. until its closing and later at Schloegel's Restaurant and the Dodge Inn, from where she retired.
Survivors include three children, Sydney (Ralph), Barry and Janel (Chris); eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three brothers and a sister.
In addition to her husbands, Wally and Bernie, she was preceded in death by a son, Donny; a granddaughter, Danielle; a brother and two sisters.
Visitation was held at Hansen Onion Martell Funeral Home in Marinette on Saturday, March 9, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
