Dolores Mary (Howarth) Pfeiff, 91, of Stephenson, Mi., passed away Sunday, March 10, 2019 at Roubal Care and Rehab Center in Stephenson, Mi.
Born Jan. 15, 1928 in Wausaukee, to the late James and Margaret (Baye) Howarth, she married Frank Pfeiff on Nov. 9, 1946 in Wausaukee and he preceded her in death on Jan. 18, 2014.
A homemaker she worked on the family farm, cooked at the 41 Café and Santosa Lodge and was a member of Lost Lake Covenant Church where she sang in the choir.
She enjoyed flowers, watching the birds, reading and crossword and word search puzzles, but mostly loved her family and time spent with them.
She is survived by a brother, Dan Howarth of Wood River, Ill.; four daughters Linda Hurt of Milwaukee, Marge (Bill) Koldos of Stephenson, Mi., Donna Pfeiff of New Richmond and Shirley Peterson of Menominee, Mi.; a son, Charles Pfeiff of Stephenson, Mi.; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Including her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Josephine; two brothers, James and Joseph and a son, Edward.
Per her wishes, no services will be held. Burial will be in Lost Lake Cemetery. Anderson Diehm Funeral Home of Stephenson is assisting the family.
