Ilene I. (Bozile) Koebach, 80, of Oconto Falls, passed away suddenly Tuesday afternoon, March 12, 2019 at home of natural causes.
Born Oct. 9, 1938 in the U.P. to Alfred and Myra (Lehman) Bozile, she married Donald Johnson and they had three children, Lloyd, Keith and Carol. After being widowed at a young age, she then married Richard Koebach and they had three children, Calvin, Leah and Kyrsten.
She lived in Stiles most of her life and worked at the Oconto Falls Library and tended bar at the former Mercier's Hotel.
She enjoyed making crafts, especially jewelry and will be remembered as a great wife, mother and "granny" to her many grandchildren.
Survivors include five children, Lloyd (Linda) Johnson, Gillett, Keith Johnson, Oconto Falls, Carol Koski, Green Bay, Calvin (Portia) Koebach Sr., Cecil and Kyrsten (Alison Easter) Koebach, Massachusetts.; a son-in-law, Rick Straschewski, Green Bay; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a brother, Tom (Sandy) Bozile, Neenah; a sister, JoAnn Dams, Oconto Falls and many nieces; nephews and cousins.
Besides her parents and both husbands, Donald and Richard, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Leah Straschewski; three brothers; a sister; a grandson, Joey Koebach and in-laws, Elmer and Senia Johnson and Joseph and Eleanor Koebach.
Visitation with the urn present will take place at Jones Funeral Service in Oconto Falls on Saturday, March 16 from 9 a.m. until time of Memorial Services at 11 a.m., with Pastor Lloyd Luedeman officiating. Memorials can be made to www.pulmonaryfibrosis.org
