Mary J. (Settlage) Tadisch, 72, of Athelstane, passed away Sunday, March 31, 2019 at home surrounded by family.
Born July 7, 1946 in Waukesha, to the late Henry and Elsie (Stuart) Settlage, she married Franklin Tadisch on Nov. 27, 1965 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Crivitz. She worked for her father, Dr. Henry Settlage in Crivitz for many years as a medical assistant before working in home healthcare.
With her love of gardening, she opened Mary's Greenhouse where she tended to her flowers and provided them to the community. She was a good cook, but above all loved time with family.
She is survived by her husband, Franklin; five children, Mark (Deborah) Tadisch of Athelstane, Lisa (Rodney) Nystrom of Green Bay, Shawna (Greg Knudsen) Tadisch of Middle Inlet, Frank (Samantha) Tadisch of Verona and Alex (Melissa) Tadisch of Pound; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a brother and many extended family and close friends.
Including her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Joseph Michael.
Family and friends may visit at Roubal Funeral Home in Wausaukee on Saturday, April 13 from 10 a.m. until time of the Memorial Service at noon with Pastor Lin Wittmann presiding.
