Mary "Lou" Meyer, 89, of Warner Robins, Ga., passed away Tuesday, April 9, 2019.
Born Nov.15, 1929 in Peshtigo, to the late Earl Charles Meyer and Yrsa Marie Smith Meyer, she was an administrative assistant for a nursing home.
A member of the Baptist Faith, she loved painting and crocheting, with many of her crocheted projects sent to soldiers overseas and hats, blankets, and sweaters to infants born prematurely. She was a loving mother, grandmother and sister.
Survivors include two daughters, Susan (Mark) Dillenburg of Wisconsin and Linda (Gene) Brabham of Ivey, Ga.; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren and a sister, Nancy Boudreau of Texas.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Helen (Paul) Garon and Alice (Max) Shrader; a brother, Earl (Joyce) Meyer and recently a daughter, Judith Ann Shields.
Visitation was held in the chapel of Heritage Memorial Funeral Home on Monday, April 15 from 10:30 a.m. until time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. Rev. Andy Pickens officiated. Donations can be made to the Disabled American Veterans, PO Box 14301, Cincinnati, OH 45250-0301.
