Judy A. Ehmer
Issue Date: April 18, 2019
Judy Ann (Piek) Ehmer, 75, of Pembine, passed away Tuesday, April 9, 2019, surrounded by loved ones at Florence Health Services.
Born Jan. 23, 1944 in Sheboygan, to the late Leonard and Lillian (Gremmer) Peik, she owned and operated the Pembine Heights Bar and Grill for many years until retiring in 2003. With her humor and wit, she met many friends from all over and stayed in contact with them after retirement.
She enjoyed playing cribbage, crocheting, playing games on her computer and watching the Green Bay Packers, but mostly loved time with her family. She was loved by many and had a smile that lit up a room.
Survivors include her special companion of 34 years, Richard "Chuck" McCormick; a son, Cecil J. "CJ" (Jaime) Ehmer, Green Bay; four daughters, Cheri Scheffen, Dunbar, Tami Jo (David) Messman, Two Rivers, Bobbie J. (Kevin) Valenta, Mishicot and Chevonne N. (John) Tobin, Manitowoc; 10 grandchildren; two great-granddaughters and four step-grandchildren.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Dawn Alice Wunrow and a sister, Lorna (Peik) Hill.
Family and friends called at Grace Lutheran Church in Pembine on Monday, April 15 from 1 p.m. until time of the funeral service at 3 p.m. Pastor Gene Wickman presided with interment in Pembine Cemetery. Donations to Pembine Rescue Squad are appreciated. Roubal Funeral Home of Wausaukee assisted the family with arrangements.
