Jerome "Jerry" Degayner, 85, of Menominee, Mi., passed away Friday, April 5, 2019 at Rennes Health Care Center-East.
Born March 23, 1934 in Dubuque, Ia., to the late Roy and Florence (Miller) Degayner, he served in the United States Navy from 1952-1956. On May 19, 1961, he married the former Marlene Hafner in Menominee.
A hairdresser during the day, he was a musician at night and enjoyed building a Pitt Special airplane and building replicas of boats from scratch, but especially loved to ride motorcycle.
Survivors include his wife, Marlene Degayner; three children, Kevin, Sean and Erin Degayner; a granddaughter; a brother, Steven Degayner and three other brothers.
Visitation will be held at Anderson Kell Funeral Home in Menominee on Wednesday, April 17 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
