John S. Palzewicz, 67, of Daggett, Mi., passed away at home on Sunday, April 21, 2019.
Born June 29, 1951 in Daggett, Mi., to the late Joseph and Rose (Mathias) Palzewicz, he graduated from Stephenson High School and Northern Michigan University with a teaching degree and worked for the United States Post Office as a mail carrier for 29 years.
He loved to watch the Packers, Tigers and all other sports. He was a retired member of the Stephenson Volunteer Fire Department and loved the outdoors, enjoyed hunting, fishing, mowing the lawn and doing lawncare at Four Seasons Island Resort. He grew up on Lone Oak Golf Course which was built by his father, Joe.
He is survived by his wife, Barb of Daggett, Mi.; children, Mandy (Denco) Baumler of Daggett, Mi., Joseph Palzewicz of Menominee, Mi. and Alexandria Palzewicz of Marquette, Mi.; a granddaughter; three sisters Judy Karbowski, Mary Carhoun and Vikki Palzewicz-Waite and five brothers Roland, Jim (Ellen), Leslie (Ellie), Bob (Karen) and Donald.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Kenneth and Jerry and three sisters, Katherine, Jeanne Grider and Joanne Hurtt.
Private services were held at Anderson Diehm Funeral Home in Stephenson.
